Artisan Homemade No-Knead Bread

My Favourite Artisan Homemade No-Knead Bread....

No mixer , no kneeding, no yeast proofing....


3 cups Wholemeal Flour ( you can use Bread Flour as well)
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Dry Instant Yeast
330-350 ml cool Water



*In a big mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients very well - so the salt and the yeast are evenly distributed throughout the flour. 

*Add the water and combine with the flour. I use a handle of a wooden or plastic spoon to stir all ingredients together. 

*The moment you have a sticky dough and no dry bits at the bottom of the bowl, cover the with a plastic wrap and leave the dough to proof for 10-24 hours - at room temperature. 

*Ten hour later just knead for a mnute or two, fold, shape and proof the dough for second time. Cover and leave for another 5-8 hours.

*Before baking shape your bread and leave it to rest for another 1 to 2 hours.

*Dust the top of the bread with flour , decorate and bake in a preheated oven  at  230 C/ 450 F for 30-40 min or until ready and golden brown ! 


Note: You can use this no knead dough to prepare pizza, cinnamon rolls, pitta bread, khachapuri, burger buns...😉❗
