 Vegan Apple-Plum-Ginger Crumble with Cinnamon and Cardamon.... 




This is the best dessert for the Fall when the sweet apples and plums are just in season. Within ten minutes of going in the oven the scent will fill the house .....and will bring your choldhood memories alive.... 



For the Fruit Filling:


1 big Apple

3 big Plums

1/2 teaspoon grated Fresh Ginger 

2 tablespoons Agave Syrup

1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon Cardamon Seeds

a splash of Water


For the Crumble Topping :


8 tablespoons Spelt Flour

3 tablespoons Coconut Oil

 1 tablespoon Agave Syrup 

1 Vanilla sugar


Instructions:

The fruit filling :

* Cut the fruits in pieces . 

* In a deep pan mix the fruits, grated Ginger , Agave Syrup, Cinnamon , Cardamon seeds , a splash of water and bring to boil. Turn off the heat on slow and simmer for 5-7 min. 

The Crumble topping:

* In a bowl mix together the Spelt Flour, Coconut Oil, Agave Syrup, Vanilla sugar and with your fingers lightly pinch together the mixture to form tender little clumps. 


* Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and place the oven rack in the center of the oven. Line the bottom of a 20-22 cm round baking pan with parchment paper.

* Pour the Fruit Mixture into the baking pan and spread evenly the Crumble Mixture on the top.

* Bake in preheated oven for about 25 - 30 minutes, or until golden brown....



Serve with ice cream, coconut cream or caramel sauce....
