Oven Roasted Cauliflower and Carrots with Olive Oil and Spices

Oven Roasted Vegetables!!! 

The best way to cook veggies...

Olive oil, salt, spices and heat.....  and then .... those caramelized edges .... veggies with perfect texture and delicious flavor !


What ingredients do you need ?

Cauliflower
Carrots
Olive oil
Salt
Black Pepper (powder)
Curry Powder
Turmeric Powder
Oregano



Method:

Just peel the carrots and slice them not too thinly. 
 
Then cut the cauliflower, not too thinly.

Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with curry powder, turmeric powder, oregano, garlic (optional), salt and black pepper , then toss. Toss well !

Onto a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper if you like), spread out in a single layer. 
Cover with cooking foil. 

Bake into a preheated 230°C oven for 10 minutes. 

Remove the foil and roast for another 10-15 minutes or until golden caramelized edges  ....   


Note:

I recommend  serving these vegetables with a flavorful sauce.

My favourite one is Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce!

Just heat 150-200 ml fresh cream in a deep pan, remove from the heat and melt 100g grated Cheddar Cheese into it.  


It is absolutely delicious!
